PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy, in plain English
Last updated September 2026. BandManager (also known as BandOS on iOS) is a small app built to help bands organize rehearsals, setlists, and files. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it — without the legal jargon. The basics: your account
When you sign up, we ask for your name and email address. We use this to create your account, let your bandmates recognize you, and send you important emails — like invite confirmations or a heads-up if something needs your attention. We don't use your email for marketing, and we never sell it.
Your band's information
Everything you and your bandmates create inside a band — rehearsal availability polls, votes, setlists, and payment rotation schedules — is only visible to the members of that specific band. We don't look at it, analyze it, or share it with anyone outside your band.If your band uses a public rehearsal poll link, the name typed in by whoever votes is stored so the results make sense — treat that link like you would any shared document, since anyone with it can see and vote on it.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a device token (a code Apple or Google gives us, not your phone number or any personal identifier) so we can send you reminders — like a new poll to vote on, or a nudge that you haven't voted yet. You can turn this off anytime in your phone's Settings, and we'll stop sending you anything.
Files you upload
Recordings, sheet music, contracts, or anything else you upload to your band's File Hub is stored securely and is only accessible to your band's members. You can delete any file you've uploaded at any time.
Optional connections you control
BandManager lets you optionally connect a Google account (to sync files with Google Drive) or a Telegram account (to receive band updates there instead of, or alongside, push notifications). These are entirely opt-in — nothing is connected unless you explicitly set it up, and you can disconnect either one at any time from your band's Integrations settings. We only ever access what's needed to make that specific feature work.
Payments and subscriptions
If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is handled entirely by Apple's App Store (or Google Play on Android) and processed through RevenueCat, a subscription management service. We never see or store your card number or any billing details — we're only told whether your subscription is active, so we can unlock the right features for your band.
We don't sell your data
BandManager does not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We don't run ads, and we don't share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The only outside companies involved are the ones mentioned on this page (like Apple, Google, or Telegram — and only if you choose to connect them), and they're there purely to make the app work, not to profit from your information.
How long we keep your data
We keep your account and band data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and all associated data permanently deleted, just email us — we'll take care of it promptly, usually within a few days.
Children's privacy
BandManager isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone that age. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We'd encourage you to check back occasionally, but nothing here changes without good reason.
